Job description:

Seeking a Junior- to Mid-level software engineer to add to the RefMan mobile application development team. The successful candidate will demonstrate experience and/or translatable skill in iOS or Android programming languages (Swift, Objective C, Java). Do you have skill with statically typed languages? Can you explain it? Have you worked as part of a team utilizing agile processes and tools (e.g., Atlassian suite, GitHub)? Do you grasp the key concepts of team- based software engineering (sprints, scrum, kanban, pull/merge requests)? This is a geographically distributed team, so the ability to work remotely and interdependently are very important. You need to be unafraid to ask questions and be able to communicate clearly. Pluses if you know web technologies, particularly JavaScript and CSS. As part of the interview process, we would like to check out samples of code you’ve written. If you have a GitHub account or have contributed to open source projects, we would like to see some of that work as well.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors degree is preferred. Experience may be used in lieu of degree.

Experience with mobile application development skills to include iOS and/or Android or translatable skills such as Swift, Objective C, or Java.

Experience with agile tools such as GitHub/Atlassian suite a plus.

Clearance Requirement:

  • Must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance
