Job description:

We are looking for a current college student with strong development skills to join our Workspace ONE team as an iOS intern. In this role you will be contributing to the development of Workspace ONE native iOS client. Engineers on this team possess expertise in many different mobile platforms. Our team members are extremely accomplished, collaborative, and agile. They share a passion for developing and releasing innovative products that change the way people work!

You will work with VMware and AirWatch teams and will be exposed to native iOS application delivery for enterprise mobility management. These applications are utilized by millions of devices around the world.

Responsibilities: - Design and development of VMware Workspace ONE iOS application - Work closely with user experience and back-end server teams to define best possible user experience and cutting edge functionality - Work with local and global teams to define requirements, design, and implementation

Role: - Develop native iOS solutions working in a very strong team of mobile platform software engineers - Help implement best practices as used by Apple and industry - Lead initiatives and bring innovative solutions to market

Required Experience: - Pursuing a BS or MS in Computer Science or related field - Strong programming skills in one or more of: Swift, Objective C, C++, Java - Strong awareness of best practices, patterns and tools for software development - Self-starter with a passion to learn

Desirable Experience: - Internship or personal project experience using Swift or Objective C to develop native iOS apps - Hands-on experience interacting with RESTful web services - Experience working in an Agile Software Development environment - Experience working with local and remote teams
